Cloud Architect (AWS)

Remote (Must be US-Based) (Full-time)

Code Drifters is seeking an AWS Architect to design, develop, and deploy AWS environments for customers to run custom workloads. You will maintain and improve a common AWS environment, harden the security posture, and assist customers with design and implementation of their workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AWS Environments for customers to run custom workloads.
• Maintain and improve a common AWS environment.
• Maintain and harden the security posture of a common AWS Environment.
• Assist customers with design and implementation of their workloads.
• Provide support to customers in the areas of access, security, performance, cost management, etc.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical details clearly.

Requirements

• 4+ years managing a multi account AWS environment.
• 2+ years Expierence with configuration as code, such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Experience with AWS security best practices.
• Possession of strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Nice to Haves

• Expierence developing event based applications using AWS Lambda.
• Expierence with Python.
• Familiarity with containerization techniques (e.g., Docker).
